The MHADA housing scheme started by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority is offering several thousand houses in various categories across Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad etc. via MHADA lottery. Applicants must file their applications before the lottery date. The MHADA housing scheme will hold the lottery at their headquarters at Bandra East.
MHADA housing is offering properties in various localities such as Tunga Powai, Mankhurd, Mulund, Gavanpada, Sion, Pratiksha Nagar, Antop Hill, Mahavir Nagar in Kandivali West, Siddharth Nagar in Goregaon West.
Under the MHADA lottery, an LIG flat is available at Rs. 20-30 lakh, while the starting price for an EWS flat can cost up to Rs. 20 lakh. The price of an HIG apartment starts at Rs. 60 lakh and goes up to Rs. 5.8 crores. The prices of MIG tenements start from Rs. 35 lakh and go up to Rs. 60 lakh. Buyers will have to pay stamp duty on the cost of the unit.
