You can now pay your MTNL bill through the Bajaj Finserv BBPS platform's 'Bills & Recharges' service. The Reserve Bank of India conceptualised the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), which is run by the National Payments Corporation of India.

How to pay landline postpaid bill online using BBPS?
You can easily pay your landline postpaid bill online using the Bajaj Finserv BBPS platform by following these steps:
- 1 Click on 'Download App' to open the Google Play Store
- 2 Login through the email ID registered with your mobile
- 3 Click on ‘Install’
- 4 Open the app on your mobile phone
- 5 Enter your 10-digit mobile number to 'Generate OTP'
- 6 Enter the OTP and click on 'Proceed'
- 7 Under the Bills and Recharges section, click on ‘Landline Postpaid’
- 8 Choose a biller from the drop-down menu
- 9 Enter your registered landline number and tap on 'Proceed'
- 10 Choose your preferred payment mode and complete the payment

Transactions made using the Bharat Bill Payment System platform at Bajaj Finserv are free of charge.
FAQs on MTNL bill payment online
Since you have received the success response, we would request you to wait for 2 working days. In case still you do not get the balance/ recharge benefit kindly contact your service provider’s customer support directly mentioning the transaction ID/ order ID to get a resolution.
Once the recharge is done, the transaction cannot be modified, since the top-up/ balance/ recharge benefits have already been delivered.
If you require further assistance, please reach out to your service provider’s customer support directly, mentioning the transaction id.
You can also raise a request in the ‘Transaction history’ section by selecting the transaction from your transaction history and raising a dispute on it.
If your recharge fails and the amount is deducted, please wait for 48 hours. The amount will be credited back in your account or you will receive a recharge message shortly.
Check if you have entered the details incorrectly. Payment failure could also be due to an issue at the operator’s end. We suggest you retry after some time.
